The Municipality of E.B. Magalona received 2nd place award from the Province of Negros Occidental for exemplary contribution in environmental conservation, protection, and rehabilitation of E.B. Magalona Blue Crab Sanctuary and Mangrove Reserve and Bird Sanctuary Conservation Area at Tomongtong Mangrove Eco-trail, E.B. Magalona during the 1st Awarding Ceremony of the Negros Occidental Governor's Conservation Achievement Award for Local Conservation Area held at Negrense Residences, Bacolod City Negros, Occidental on November 23, 2021.
